ABOUT THE COURSE
Indian Statistical Institute is a premier institution for statistical research in India which was set up in 1931 and has its headquarters at Kolkata. ISI is the Institute for research, teaching and application of social sciences and statistics. It has four campuses situated in Chennai, Delhi, Tezpur, and Bangalore.
Highlights of Admission in B. Stat (Hons.) Course:

Aspirants who wish to look for admission in B. Stat(Hons) Course need to show up for an entrance exam led by ISI Kolkata.

Every year a huge number of applicants participate in this examination, which most likely takes place in the month of May.

The examination is held in offline mode.

Admit card for the examination and result declaration will be done online on their official site

Candidates who effectively qualify the entrance test will be called for the counselling and document verification/personal interview process.

Also, candidates who are Indian Nationals and Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) Awardees of any previous year need not sit for the written test. Such candidates would be directly called for interview but are required to apply in the prescribed application form like all other candidates

B. Stat (Hons), is offered only at Kolkata campus, there is no course fee. Indeed, all deserving candidates will be provided with INR 3000/Month stipend

B.STAT(Hons) Program is of 3 years duration and seat intake is 50.
QUALIFICATION

Successful completion of Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Mathematics and English as subjects.
